Savory Mushroom and Asparagus Kugel
What to do when there’s a tablespoon here and there of vegetables left over from holiday meals?
Not seeing a recipe I liked, with an extra box of mushrooms and leftover asparagus, a savory kugel came to mind. I sautéed vegetables layering them with noodles on top. When I pulled the kugel out of the oven and cut a bit to taste, wow! Creamy and smooth noodles with the elegant tastes of mushrooms and asparagus was the result.
